28th August 2010.
The whole idea of writing all this down on a computer was that I might actually be able to keep a diary-something I have tried and failed to do for years. Not very successful so far as this is the second one for August and August has more than two days!
I have been soo busy trying to sort out the loft which was probably the fullest, messiest loft in the whole of England. I have found three old car seats, suitcases (that I have never seen before!),millions of toys, a box named shoes from the 70's(!!)-how old am I!! There is a whole family history up there and although some of it is brilliant on the other hand I have never seen so much cr*p in my whole life.Loads of it has all been dumped in my back garden which now resembles a junk yard until we can get to the dump. Some stuff I am selling on Ebay, obviously not the cr*p! and so far five out of fifteen things have bids wahooo!!!

OOh I nearly forgot -look what I've got.I have wanted a Lloyd loom chair for so long and now I have one and I am so happy.

As a bonus I got this lovely matching laundry basket with a glass top as part of the deal.Oh I do love Ebay!!!

I feel so,so lucky. I haven't had much time for crochet with all this loft stuff but here is where I am up to on my stripey blanket.Long way to go yet!

I also have been trying something else in sort of Cath Kidston colours but I am not sure if I like this or not

Next week I am hoping to do some more loft clearing and then maybe I can start tidying up the messiest house in England because some of the downstairs stuff can go into the most organised loft in England!!
I am going to leave it for today with another picture of my gorgeous chair!! xx

IT'S NICE HERE ACTUALLY!

2nd August 2010.

Today is still about appreciating but this time it's more about the area outside my house and garden. I should be living by the sea,I need to live by the sea it feels like where I belong but that hasn't happened yet so I have decided to like where I live (at the moment!) more than I have done previously.

The place above and below is a ten minute stroll from my house-it is a lovely peaceful public area by the River Thames that doesn't get busy and is a very relaxing place to go.

And here is one more.

I reckon that makes me very lucky!

That will have to do for today because now I have to cook dinner and think about what to appreciate tomorrow!!
